Chapter 6 is my favorite chapter so far because Johnny and Pony helped get the kids out of the burning church. The ambulance took Pony to the hospital and he was crying. Pony was thinking about his mother and father when they were alive. He was remembering when he cooked breakfast and Two-bit and Steve came into the house and two-bit grabbed Pony boy in dropped the eggs. Two-bit was cleaning up the eggs and when he was done cleaning up the mess, Two-bit , Pony, Soda and Dally were in the living room. Two-bit and Pony were fighting. These are things that Pony was thinking about and it was making him cry more.

Johnny and Dallas and also Pony boy drove to Dairy Queen to eat and they were so hhhhhhhhhhungry! Then suddenly they turned the corner and seen the CHURCH ON FIRE! As soon as they had seen it Johnny and Pony ran inside the burning church to save children trapped inside. Im so nervous for them and hope they make it out alive!

Chapter six starts like this…. Pony and Dally and Johnny
went to the Dairy Queen to eat because the boys are tired of eating bologna. When they went back to the church the church was on fire. Ponyboy and Johnny jumped out of the
car and ran straight to the church. The church was surrounded by children
and Ponyboy said to Johnny, I bet we started the fire. Then a guy named Jerry said I will go in the church to rescue the kids. Ponyboy went in to help the children that were caught in the fire.

In chapter 6 of the book The Outsiders Dally had took Pony-boy and Johnny to go eat because they were starving, they were sick of eating bologna. Dally took them to the Dairy Queen then they were sitting in the car talking. Dally told them how Cherry one of the soc’s, pulled up in her car and said that she was going to help them and tell the judge that it was self-defense and the other Soc’s was drunk looking for a fight. That’s when Johnny gagged and I almost dropped my Hot-fudge Sunday. Cherry said Pony-Boy, yeah Dally said, this is all her fault Bob is dead, and it is all her fault you guys are on the run. Then Johnny said we are going back to turn ourself in. Dally said what, Cherry was going to tell the judge that is was self-defense right, Johnny said. Yeah Dally said, but i just won’t like to see you in the slamer.

chapter six
Johnny nearly gagged “Cherry the soc… we both said at the same time” she said that she was going to testify that they were drunk and looking for a fight and it was just self deafense”. Dally said “and I offered to take her to the dingo for a coke and she said “no thank you” and told me were to go in very polite terms.| I think that Cherry felt sorry for Pony and maybe that’s why she wants to testify for them but mostly Johnny because he killed a soc… They were talking about all of this in the Dairy Queen.

Johnny gagged and almost dropped his hot-fudge sunday when johnny said ”Im going back to turn my self into the fuzz”. Johnny said “I don’t have nothing with them”. Dally got mad and said “what are you for real, why did you not turn your self in before”. Johnny say’s “I was scared, I am still scared”. Then Dally, Johnny and Pony went back to the church. The church was on fire, there were many kids around the church. Pony and Johnny ran to the church and asked what happened then Pony and Johnny ran into the church when it was on fire to save children that was trapped inside. They ran to the back of the church and there was kids back there. They took the first kid and put him out the window to safety. The church was about to come down on them. Pony had caught on fire and Dally slammed Pony on the floor. They were taken to the hospital, Pony asked the guy were was Dally and Johnny.

Chapter six starts off with Dally, Pony and Johnny at the Dairy Queen. Johnny asked Dally a question he said “I will turn myself in” Johnny said it’s Dally got so mad and said “ why didn’t you turn yourself in five days ago”. Johnny said that he was scared. Johnny told him that he would give him back the gun and the rest of the money. Pony was surprised that Johnny said he might be let off easy. He has no record with the fuzz. Pony and Cherry can testify to help us. Do you want me to live in a church for the rest of my life.That was quite a speech foe Johnny. Johnny was so scared of cops. We wont tell them that you helped us, we will say that we hitched hike back. The boys are worried about you, Two-bit was going to go to Texas to look for you. Johnny asked if his parents asked about him, and Dally told him no. My Parents don’t care if I’m dead in a car wreck.

Chapter 6 starts off with Johnny gagging on food, when Dally told him about Cherry helping out the Socs. Pony, Dally and Johnny were eating at a Dairy Queen after they finished eating they went back to the church. Johnny told Dally that he wanted to turn himself in and Dally got mad. When they got to the church they saw that the church on fire. Pony and Johnny and Dally ran into the church to help save some little kids who were on a trip and trapped inside. Johnny dropped out while in the fire and Dally helped get him out. That’s all I remember from chapter 6.

Johnny, Pony boy, and Dally were in the Dairy Queen eating. Johnny was finishing his fifth barbecue sandwich. Then they left the back Dairy Queen to go back to the church. They noticed that the church was on fire. Pony boy tapped the nearest grown-up and asked what was going on? They don’t know, Ms. O’brien came back and said there are kids missing from her group.
Pony boy went to in to save them he ran down the hill and threw a big rock at the window, then he jumped in. This is what I have read so far…..

I like S.E Hinton, because she wrote this book The Outsiders. It was a good idea to write this book because she was only 16 years old. She said that there were no books for kids her age to read that were interesting at the time.

When Ponyboy stepped out of the sun light from the darkness of the movie house he had only two thing on his mind, Paul Newman and a ride home. He was wishing he looked like Paul Newman. He looks tough. Ponyboy was jumped by a group of Socials near his home when Ponyboy ask Soda, “ Why did you drop out of school? “ He said because he is dumb. Ponyboy said to Soda “You are not dumb”. It is an excellent book so far.
